Testing And Assessment Center
The Testing and Assessment Center administers the American College Test (ACT) and the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) Test. The ACT is administered to the general public before the beginning of each semester and periodically throughout registration. The CAAP test is administered each semester to students with a minimum of forty-five (45) hours excluding any developmental courses.
Assessment activities of the Testing and Assessment Center are directed toward the improvement of instruction and institutional effectiveness. Some assessment activities are: Satisfactory Academic Progress; Student Evaluations of Faculty; Faculty Peer Evaluations; and Supervisory Evaluation of Faculty.
