The SUSLA Athletic Program consists of men's and women's basketball and golf teams.

The Port City Jags men's basketball team competes at the Division I level and is a member of the MISS-LOU Conference. Conference members include Louisiana members Bossier Parish Community College and Delgado Community College, and Mississippi members Meridian Community College and Mary Holmes Community College.

The Port City Lady Jags women's basketball team competes at the Division I Level.
