SHREVEPORT, LA - Southern University at Shreveport (SUSLA) will present a workshop on student veterans issues on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 9:00 AM in the Jesse Stone Lecture Hall. The workshop will focus on national, state and local veterans affairs issues.
Caddo Commissioner Kenneth R. Epperson, Sr. and Barry Robinson from the Caddo Parish Veterans Service Office will be presenters.
SUSLA’s Academic Department will be present to discuss some of the issues facing veterans on campus. Other campus personnel will be available with information that will help make veterans’ transition to college successful.
The goal is to improve veterans services on campus.
All interested persons are invited.
